While most tours focus only on culture, you’ll immerse yourself in both the rich cultural heritage and incredible biodiversity of Peru, creating a journey that blends history, nature, and adventure into a single, unforgettable experience.

PROGRAM
Arrival in Lima
- Upon arrival, enjoy a smooth transfer to your hotel, located just 1–2 blocks from the iconic seaside Parque del Amor in the upscale Miraflores neighborhood. From the coastal cliff right in front of the Marriott, paragliders often take off, adding a touch of adventure to the view;
- Depending on your arrival time, a late afternoon visit to the Plaza de las Armas, where the Palace and Cathedral glow beautifully under the setting sun;
- Savor local cuisine in the city center, then take a leisurely evening stroll back to the Plaza to admire the historic buildings bathed in their night-time illumination;
- Return to your hotel for a restful night, just behind Parque del Amor.
Lima to Cusco
- After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, check into one of our favorite boutique hotels—a charming colonial mansion with a central patio (availability permitting)—just two blocks from the Plaza de las Armas;
- If time allows, enjoy a morning excursion in Lima or an afternoon walk around Cusco’s old town to soak in its unique charm;
- As evening falls, wander through the beautifully lit streets of Cusco and choose a restaurant for dinner. Spend the night in your boutique hotel, surrounded by centuries of history.
Discovering Cusco
- Spend the day exploring Cusco’s rich tapestry of history and culture. In the morning, enjoy a guided walk through its combined Inca and colonial monuments, learning about the city’s fascinating past;
- In the afternoon, lose yourself wandering the narrow streets, soaking up the vibrant atmosphere and exploring one of the colorful Indian art markets, perfect for souvenirs and local crafts;
- Return to your hotel for the night.
Sacred Valley & Aguascalientes
- Embark on a full-day excursion through the stunning Sacred Valley, home to ancient Inca sites and breathtaking landscapes. In the late afternoon, board the train at Ollantaytambo station, winding your way deeper into the valley until reaching Aguascalientes, a cozy town nestled between the river and the steep mountain of Machu Picchu;
- Check into your hotel on the main pedestrian street, surrounded by an array of charming restaurants;
- If you wish, take a 10-minute stroll to the nearby hot springs for a relaxing soak in the volcanic baths or a soothing massage before or after dinner.
Machu Picchu
- Rise early for a short bus ride (20 minutes) to the Machu Picchu World Heritage Site, arriving before the crowds. Enjoy a guided tour of the sacred citadel, marveling at the incredible Inca architecture and the mystical beauty of the site;
- If tickets are available, take the Huayna Picchu hike, offering panoramic views from above the citadel. Alternatively, you may choose to hike back through the cloud forest of the Machu Picchu Reserve, observing its rich birdlife and plant diversity;
- In the late afternoon, return by train to Ollantaytambo, where a transfer awaits to bring you back to Cusco for the night
Rainbow Mountain
- Take an excursion to the spectacular Montaña de los Colores (Vinicunca), also known as Rainbow Mountain. Located at 5,200 meters (17,060 feet) in the southern Cusco region, this natural wonder spans the communities of Pitumarca, Llaqto, and Pampa Chiri, who share stewardship of this stunning landscape. Marvel at the colorful mineral layers and breathtaking vistas of the Andean highlands;
- Transfer flight Cuzco – Lima
Return flight
- Flight back to Lima. Depending on available flights and your return flight to Quito, you may be able to fly back to Quito, or have to spend the night in Lima to board your international flight.
